Progetto Isole , curated by Barbara D’Ambrosio (Roma) e Costanza Meli (Palermo), aims at investigating the territory and fostering creative interventions in public spaces. Progetto Isole as an ongoing project has been articulated in two different localities: Isola delle Femmine and Piana degli Albanesi.

Aiming to discover the art scene of Palermo and Sicily, R22 engages a conversation with Giovanni Iovane, curator for Sacs Archive of young local artists.
Festino di S.Rosalia : observed festivity by the Patron saint of Palermo, every year on July 15th. A decorated float carries the Saint statue for a religious procession through the Cassaro area, but this also is the feast of all citizens. The sacrum (religious tradition) and the profane (carnival tradition) live together.
